#AMonthOnFilm – Water

26—Water

As I try to cope with, cultivate a sense of safety and grow through severe mental health struggles and trauma responses it is one of my goals each day (among a few other things) to turn on this water and take a shower. In the not so distant past I was not capable of doing this each day as my struggles were so severe just staying alive was the main goal. Thankfully I have gotten back to my regular habit of turning on this water and taking a shower each day. It doesn’t sound like much but sure has taken a lot of hard work just to get to this point. I am thankful and see this image as a way of celebrating a lot of hard work and growth.
